SHOP POLICIES

General

  1. We often have availability during the current month, but many of our artists book multiple months in advance. Most of our artists designate the month they are booking on their instagram profiles.

  2. When submitting a booking request please give all of the information, if all information is not given we cannot make a proper evaluation for booking and may not be able to make an appointment. If you cannot get the booking form to work, please email appts@nicetattooparlor.com with all of the information from the booking form.

  3. If you do not hear from us after no less than a week, please feel free to give us a call to confirm that we received your booking

  4. Due to a high volume of requests please allow us 3-5 days to respond

  5. Individual artists may take deposits, all deposits are non refundable and go towards the final payment. Your time slot is not confirmed until you place a deposit.

  6. Please arrive on time to your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will be considered a no call/no show and your deposit will be voided. You may or may not be able to be seen but your deposit will be voided.

Cancellation/Rescheduling

  1. Artists reschedule appointments at their own discretion. If you wish to reschedule an appointment please contact your artist at least 72 hours in advance. If you cancel without rescheduling, give less than 72 hours notice, or do not show up for your appointment, the deposit is nullified.

  2. If a deposit is nullified and you wish to make a new appointment, a new deposit is required.

Cost/Estimates:

  1. Our minimum is $200 and goes up from there based on the size, placement and detail. If you have a specific budget, please let us know when filling out the form. We can also definitely give you a price estimate, but it is just an estimate, it may cost more or less depending on the final tattoo. The more details we know about it, the better!

Guests

  1. Due to limited space, guests are not allowed in the shop for emotional support. Please do not bring guests with you, but there are a bunch of coffee shops, eateries and shops to hang out in while they wait.

Things to know before your tattoo

  1. 24 hours prior to the tattoo please do not drink alcohol

  2. Make sure you are well rested, eat and stay hydrated prior to your appointment.

  3. Please understand that this is a medical procedure, hygiene will affect safety

  4. If you have body hair in the area in which you are to be tattooed, please do not shave the area before your appointment

  5. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we are not able to tattoo you

Aftercare

  1. If you

    1. receive saniderm bandages (clear second skin bandage) leave bandage on for 3-4 days as instructed by your artist.

    2. receive normal bandages please leave on for 2-3 hours or until you are in a clean environment. 

  2. Remove bandage and wash tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap (dial is great!) Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

  3. Apply a thin layer of aquaphor to the tattoo 2-3 times a day for three days (as needed if the area is dry)

  4. To maintain the longevity and health of your tattoo, please continue moisturizing the area with unscented body lotion.

  5. Do not pick or peel scabs, as it may cause the tattoo to fall out/lose ink.

Disclaimers

  1. Long term exposure to the elements can cause fading. Please refrain from exposing the tattoo to the sun for the first 2 weeks. 

  2. Tattoos in high motion areas are prone to fading and may require a touch up

  3. 2-3 weeks after your tattoo no soaking, sauna, bathing, swimming or prolonged exposure to water

Touch ups

  1. The first touch up is free for up to 6 months after the initial appointment

  2. Hand and foot tattoos will fade and additional charges will be applied for a touch up

  3. To schedule a touch up email back on the same email chain that you booked the appointments with a picture of the tattoo in its current condition

  4. Touch ups are honored by their original artists. If the artist is no longer at Nice, you must contact them for the touch up. We are more than happy to connect you!

  5. We love pictures of healed tattoos, so please email us photos of your tattoos a month after they’re done
